Red - I'll be reading your recaps as soon as I've got through the tapes. I've missed most of Dr Who this year (for shame etc, etc) due to being OS or outback, but I'm zipping through the tapes as quickly as I can.

Sorry but have to disagree here, the series 2 finale was far far better and now that Catherine Tate is going to be the good Doctor's new companion I am worried that it will just degenerate into lots of shouty nonsense. Great set up but John Sim was just a bit too OTT for the Master.

Best episodes of this series were the one with the angels, Blink and the Family of Blood two parter.

Tennant is by far the bestest Doctor but I hope he can escape the typecasting that did for Tom Baker's career as he is a really talented actor (put him in a remake of the Ipcress File please someone...).

Still I'll be downloading the Christmas spcial on Boxing Day...
